Spring 2012From the Minister
They say "Life is an adventure". Well I’m not exaggerating when I say that the Holder family is living the adventure right now! We’re packing up, saying our goodbyes, and preparing for the family to move to Gaithersburg. I am thrilled to begin this next journey as your Senior Minister. I know that my husband Rev. Ogun, our eleven-year-old daughter Joy, and our two beloved dogs will all settle in with the warm welcomes you are extending to us. I realize that with an intention for experiencing life as an adventure, there will be excitement and bittersweet farewells. Endings and beginnings each have value and unique qualities, but beyond the momentary experience is simply the opportunity to trust. With this in mind, I invite you to embrace the words of one of our leading Unity teachers and inspiring authors, Rev Robert Brumet. In his latest book Birthing a Greater Reality, he writes, "In learning to trust, we relax into the flow of life. We see that in spite of our struggling and stumbling there is an Infinite Intelligence that guides the unfolding of our life." Join me as we begin a new chapter in the wonderful ever-expanding story of Unity of Gaithersburg. As we trust and relax into the flow together, we will discover more about our Divine Nature, declare the Truth of who we are through the power of our intentions and words, and demonstrate the abundance of this limitless Universe. Abundant Blessings,
